The growing demand for homes and high cost of new construction, thus higher prices of new homes, are the main reason for real estate price increases in Boise. Home prices in other parts of Ada County have also gone up. Eagle median price went up by 16.3 percent, Meridian by 21.8 percent, Star by 17.1 percent.
